My Growth

By Sean K.

One of my favorite BTG experiences that has helped me grow was when I worked in store #231.

It started with me noticing I wasn’t selling as much as others. I was given the feedback to simply ask more questions.  It started out with me asking more about window types and how the customer’s windows opened.  Then I started asking more about colors and styles and the all important question of ‘why’.  I also started asking more questions when getting to know customers, which in turn helped me to bond with the customers.  I saw almost an immediate increase in my sales as a result.

This single piece of feeback has helped me evolve into the DC I am today, and I have given the same feedback to a handful of people since.  So to conclude, if you’re not already doing it, ask more questions!
