My Journey

By Keith H.

I started with the company just under a year ago in the King of Prussia showroom.

My first step was to go through the Blinds To Go University(BTGU) in the headquarters in Paramus, New Jersey.  The training was very thorough and I left the headquarters feeling like a blinds expert and I was given free passes to the local Gold’s Gym which was a nice touch.  In June 2012 I stepped into the King of Prussia showroom and I quite honestly felt overwhelmed by the sheer size of the place.  At first I had a lot of trouble with being professional and courteous with my team and customers.  My manager and my team were very helpful in helping me grow and develop as a person.

It’s now been nearly a year and I say with confidence that there has been a substantial change.  I now handle every and any customer service issue with no problem and give the customers the best possible experience when shopping for blinds.  I have now worked at two different showrooms and can say that my teams respect me and look up to me as a role model.  Blinds To Go was exactly what I needed to mold myself into a true professional.
